Nominations now open for the Australian of the Year Awards 2010
Do you know a woman who is an inspirational role model; who demonstrates excellence in her field; who is making a contribution to the Australian community? Nominations close 31st August 2009.
The Office for Women is calling on all Australians to help find the Australian of the Year, Senior Australian of the Year, Young Australian of the Year and Australia’s Local Hero 2010.
Nominating an Australian for these awards is a great way to thank them for the inspiration they have been to you. It shows them that their efforts have been recognised and appreciated.
There are four categories in which you can nominate:
- Australian of the Year
- Young Australian of the Year (16 to 30 years)
- Senior Australian of the Year (60 years and over)
- Australia's Local Hero
